How do your business coaching services differ from your consulting services?
One of the primary distinguishing terms between coaching and consulting is action. It is said that coaching, in general, is action-oriented while consulting is solution-oriented. Coaching is a continual relationship. It is grounded in seeking better clarity around issues and opportunities, accountability, and leadership effectiveness. My consulting services require a tight focus on finding solutions to specific problems and opportunities based on best practices and my own business experience.
How do I decide if I need coaching or advisory services?
If you have a specific issue you want me to address, you most likely need my advisory services. If you feel “stuck” in your progress, want to be a more effective leader, or are ready to play a bigger game, coaching is for you.
What tools does a business coach use?
The most powerful tool is to listen intently and ask questions that will lead business owners to new insights. Acting as a sounding board, the coach can provide a different perspective about business issues that owner might not have ever considered. The business coach will apply this approach to all business functions, including leadership, marketing, human resources, finances and planning.
How often do we meet?
My coaching clients meet with me for up to 1.5 hours twice a month. They also receive unlimited email access and up to one hour of telephone access each month of additional counsel on an as-needed basis.

Absolutely. I started an agency with one other person and it now has over 70 employees. I know exactly what you need to do.
Do you use personality profile tests?
Yes. Each new client is required to take the DISC Classic 2.0 test. This test takes about 30 minutes to complete and is available on-line. The results will indicate how you typically approach the workplace with regard to tasks, relationships and setting goals.
How long does each coaching engagement last?
While I request that my clients work with me for a minimum of six months, the average length of a client relationship in the coaching industry is over two years.
What do you charge for business coaching and consulting?
Our fee for Business Coaching is typically based on a six-month engagement. Depending on the size of your business and the number of people receiving coaching, these fees range from $750 to $2,000 per month. Fees for Consulting and New Business Pitch Reviews are quoted on a per project basis. The One-Day Tune-up is $2500.00 plus expenses.
Can a client pay for coaching services by the hour?
No. All fees are monthly for a minimum of six months.
Can a client pay for advisory services by the hour?
No. All fees are on a project basis.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. Please go to the “Contact/PayPal” page on this web site. You will see the PayPal link. A 3% surcharge is added to your payment to cover PayPal’s convenience fee.
